The Filipina Girlfriend Experience (FGFE) was born from a heartfelt connection and a desire to create meaningful experiences. The idea sparked when Didi, a retired businessman from Belgium, travelled to the Philippines and met Michelle, a resilient and inspiring Filipina woman. Their journey together over five days was filled with explo
The Filipina Girlfriend Experience (FGFE) was born from a heartfelt connection and a desire to create meaningful experiences. The idea sparked when Didi, a retired businessman from Belgium, travelled to the Philippines and met Michelle, a resilient and inspiring Filipina woman. Their journey together over five days was filled with exploration, cultural immersion, and genuine companionship.
Didi and Michelle had both experienced the challenges of online dating, finding it laden with false profiles and time-consuming interactions. Didi was particularly moved by Michelle's story. Coming from a fisherman family in a rural province, Michelle faced severe hardships, with her family often lacking enough food for half the year. After completing her studies, Michelle moved to Angeles to work in a bar to support her family.
During her time in the bar scene, Michelle developed a drinking problem, earning the nickname "master of drinking." However, her life took a significant turn when she became pregnant by an Italian man who abandoned her. Determined to provide a better life for her child, Michelle immediately quit drinking and smoking. She became a devoted single mother, working tirelessly for 10 hours a day in a restaurant to support her child.
Didi quickly recognized Michelle's intelligence, strength, and potential. Inspired by their shared experiences and the bond they formed, Didi envisioned a company that could offer the same meaningful connections and adventures to others. FGFE was created for individuals who don't have a partner and prefer not to travel alone, allowing them to experience the Philippines in a unique and enriching way, just as Didi and Michelle had.
